Arriving on December 30th I spent New Year's Eve touring the city and then flew out on New Year's Day.
Brunei Darussalam, the Abode of Peace - a unique country not too good with paperwork (the Olympic Team couldn't attend the 2008 games as the paperwork wasn't submitted on time and nobody thought to tell the Sultan who attended the opening ceremony) but a country that likes to laugh and doesn't take itself too seriously. Home of the fabulous Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, one of the most pictureque buildings I've seen.
