New Zealand is a great place to visit and a place I'll have to return to and explore some more. Highlights in Auckland included the Skytower and the maritime museum. The maritime museum has a history of the America's Cup yachting race and a collection of canoes from across polynesia and micronesia. My favourite exhibit though was the 'bachs' or holiday homes. The South Island was superb. Starting in Christchurch I travelled to Mt Cook, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Franz Josef Glacier and then Greymouth for the TranzAlpine train back to Christchurch.
A stopover at Auckland on the North Island followed by a bus and train tour around the South Island.
