The Northern Territory is a bit of a frontier with Darwin the most Northerly major city in Australia and Alice Springs right in the heart of the country and outback. Off the coast of Darwin are the Tiwi Islands (Bathurst and Melville) and neaby Alice Springs is Kings Canyon, Uluru (Ayres Rock) and the Olgas (Kata Tjuta).
