There's a saying that the Irish are quick of wit and slow of cunning and best to be that than the reverse. I really enjoyed travelling around Southern Ireland and would rate it as my favourite country to visit because of the diversity of the landscape for such a small island. There is the green of Waterford and Wexford, the moon-like and rough landscape of the West Coast, the tall mountains and forrests around Kylemore Abbey, source of my favourite coffee mug, and the joys of Dublin, one of which was ending up in a pub with 20 Irish Elvis impersonators.
