South America inspires a sense of adventure much like Africa with it jungles and ancient civilisations. South America has modern metropolises too and great cities such as Buenos Aires, but it is the ancient civilisations that one thinks of when thinking of South America. That and the latin beat; I've danced the Salsa on a boat in the middle of the Galapagos Islands and the Galapagos Islands are truly astounding. I read a quote that it is a rare person that is not moved by the Galapagos Islands and that is true, they certainly had an impact on me.
